We’re a small, experienced team who genuinely care about helping businesses protect what matters. Between us, we bring decades of knowledge across tamper-evident products, secure supply chains, and running businesses in the real world.
What unites us is a practical, hands-on approach, working closely with our customers to deliver security solutions that are reliable, fit for purpose, and backed by global innovation with strong local support.
Jacob joined Safepak Limited in 2024, driven by a strong belief that the most successful businesses place their people and customers at the centre of everything they do.
With experience supporting organisations to operate safely and effectively, he was drawn to Safepak’s purpose of protecting businesses from harm.
“It’s rewarding being part of a close-knit team that brings world-class tamper protection to our part of the globe. We are all motivated to protect businesses from supply-chain theft or other forms of damaging interference”
He brings a broad background across software, FMCG, and manufacturing environments, giving him a strong appreciation for robust commercial operations, efficient processes, and consistent policy adherence. This experience enables him to align the right Safepak solutions with specific needs and use cases.
As a partner of the global Unisto Group, Jacob values the opportunity to deliver Swiss developed innovation to local businesses.
Away from work, he embraces the organised chaos of family life with his three young children.
With more than 20 years in senior leadership roles across finance, sales, marketing, IT and operations, Scott has worked on both sides of the globe — from the UK and US to Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. He started his career in chartered accounting before moving into the global software sector, including 12 years at MYOB leading teams and several major initiatives.
That background gives Scott a deep and practical understanding of what businesses are really up against — and what it takes to help them thrive. As an active Business Mentors New Zealand mentor, he’s known for his clear thinking, grounded advice and genuine interest in seeing people succeed.
At Safepak, Scott applies that same hands on leadership style, supporting customers to protect their assets and build more resilient supply chains.
When away from the office, Scott shifts his focus to the squash court. A winner of several national Masters titles and has competed in many Trans-Tasman Test Series Teams. Recently served as the Tournament Director of the NZ Squash Open 2025 and 2026.
Kevin founded Safepak more than 25 years ago and brings a depth of industry knowledge that’s rare to find. Having spent decades working with tamper-evident products and security solutions, he’s seen the full evolution of the sector, how products have developed, how compliance expectations have shifted, and how different industries rely on secure processes to operate safely.
Kevin’s understanding of the full product landscape is second to none, from how each seal is engineered to how it performs within specific business, logistics or manufacturing environments.
Kevin is known for matching the right security product to the precise needs of a process or industry, ensuring customers get tailored solutions that genuinely work within their day-to-day reality. After selling Safepak to Jacob and Scott in 2024, he remains a valued and integral part of the team, offering technical depth, product expertise and long-standing client relationships.
Outside work, Kevin enjoys time on the water, usually with a fishing rod in hand.
Matt joined Safepak in 2024, bringing a strong foundation in relationship management, client success and commercial strategy. A Master of Commerce graduate from the University of Canterbury, Matt is dedicated to understanding each client’s unique challenges, delivering tailored solutions that prioritise asset and goods protection that offer businesses long-term security confidence.
Before joining Safepak, Matt helped establish and grow a fast-moving FMCG business operating across wholesale, e-commerce and retail. That hands-on experience gave him practical insight into food safety obligations, compliance pressures and the importance of secure supply chains, all central to Safepak’s work.
Today, Matt combines this knowledge with a global outlook, working closely with international suppliers to ensure customers benefit from innovative, future-ready protection solutions.
Outside of Safepak, Matt is a dedicated swim coach, mentoring the next generation of elite athletes from the pool deck.
